October

I am very excited for this next month to come. First off, fall is coming and I love fall. It starts to get colder, but not too cold. I don't really like all that snow stuff(go figure, I live in a place where it snow's a lot of the time in the winter). I also love how the leaves change. I love all the fall decorations. I have always loved fall ever since I was a little kid in elementary school( a very very long time ago). Also, my birthday will be this month. I probably not be doing very much, but that is adulthood for you. I sure do feel old enough to be an adult(my age will prove it too).
The one thing I don't like really about October is Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I have a major sweet tooth and love all the candy. I have never really been very big on dressing up and stuff. Also, I hate those scary skeleton's and spooky stuff. Carving pumpkins is enough for me.
I am so grateful for everything that is happening in my life right now.

Humbling experience

I was working at the preschool the other day in a special ed class, and all the sudden a girl with Downs Syndrome came up and gave me a hug out of the blue. Then after she let go, she hugged me again. I had only known her for about an hour. I have never had a kid do this to me before, and I never realized this before, but despite the difficulties that kids with disabilities face, they really know how to show affection toward others. I love working at the preschool so much
