Update
SO I realize I haven't written on this thing called a blog in like two years. Besides going on facebook and instagram I really don't do this whole social media thing. I have probably been on pinterest 10 times the 5 or more years I've had it. Other than starting a couple new jobs, moving from the place I lived for 5 years (yes its about time right) and adding a brand new nephew into the mix(yes that makes three now) everything's pretty much the same.
My newest adventure as of lately was going home to for two whole weeks (When was the last time that actually happened?)Everything was perfect and wonderful until I got sick the last week I was there (thanks dad). Overall though it was ta great trip
I am extremely blessed to have such great friends and family in my life. Life is a journey and learning how to become the best person through trials and experiences is one of the greatest things in life. I admit I'm not at all perfect but the Savior Jesus Christ provides a way for me to develop into my full potential in which I have the uttermost gratitude.
My new goal for 2015 is to be more positive and look on the bright side of things. As stressful as life can be sometimes, its always important to take a step back and enjoy every day for what it is worth.
Enjoy life
Liz

Because I am a horrible blogger
So what has happened to me over the last year you ask? My life is still pretty much the same. I am still working at Sam's Club. I have a new calling in church now. In May, my little nephew Duncan James Furse was born. He is absolutely perfect. He is always smiling. I did a lot of indexing. I am still in the same ward and love it and the people I get to meet and know. I feel very blessed to live where I do (despite the snow and ice). I am very grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Blessings
Tonight I am so grateful for everything I have. It is so easy to get caught up in the world. No matter what trial or hardship we face in this life, there is always going to be hope as long as we stand strong to what we believe. I am so blessed with the amazing family and friends I have. Let us all take a moment and remember how much we are blessed no matter what life throws to us

About time
Here is what has been happening in my life lately. My birthday was so wonderful. I not only had an awesome birthday party with my amazing extended family, but also so friends threw my birthday. My real birthday was on a Wednesday. I had to work that day, so there was not much celebrating going on. My good friend Rachel threw me a small birthday party that night. I spent Thursday shopping spending some of my birthday money. That night, there was another party with a bunch of ward members. Also this talk about celebrating is making me tired. I am still loving work. It has started getting so cold. Bring on the winter clothes. I am excited about the holidays. That's is all for now

Cougar Football
So lately I have been getting interested in B.Y.U. football(it is kind of hard to be in a ward with so many b.y.u. students and not be interested in it). They started out with a rough season, but we have won our last 3 games. Last night they did not show it on t.v. (only on the channel that I don't get). I was frantic trying to watch or listen to it online. I missed the first half. I then realized to do a search on the b.y.u radio station and was able to listen to it on ksl. You can really tell that my Grandpa Stan and some of my moms brothers are rubbing off on me. My uncle goes to every home game with his boys. I even bought a rise up b.y.u football shirt from the b.y.u bookstore.

October
I am very excited for this next month to come. First off, fall is coming and I love fall. It starts to get colder, but not too cold. I don't really like all that snow stuff(go figure, I live in a place where it snow's a lot of the time in the winter). I also love how the leaves change. I love all the fall decorations. I have always loved fall ever since I was a little kid in elementary school( a very very long time ago). Also, my birthday will be this month. I probably not be doing very much, but that is adulthood for you. I sure do feel old enough to be an adult(my age will prove it too).
The one thing I don't like really about October is Halloween. Don't get me wrong, I have a major sweet tooth and love all the candy. I have never really been very big on dressing up and stuff. Also, I hate those scary skeleton's and spooky stuff. Carving pumpkins is enough for me.
I am so grateful for everything that is happening in my life right now.

Humbling experience
I was working at the preschool the other day in a special ed class, and all the sudden a girl with Downs Syndrome came up and gave me a hug out of the blue. Then after she let go, she hugged me again. I had only known her for about an hour. I have never had a kid do this to me before, and I never realized this before, but despite the difficulties that kids with disabilities face, they really know how to show affection toward others. I love working at the preschool so much

Seely Lake
So about 3 weeks ago my mom's side of the family had a family reunion. My dad's sister and her husband were there too. Pretty much all of us got to the lake on Monday. Most of that afternoon was spent catching up with people we have not seen in a while. Everyone pretty much did their own thing during the days (slept, rode on jet skis, water skied, complained about all the mosquitoes, etc.), and we all got together at night. Monday night we had an activity in my parents cabin ( well Camille and I were staying in the cabin as well, but I like to call it my parents cabin). Since fathers day had just been the week before, we all went around saying what makes a good father. Tuesday night we played games. This was my favorite night. Wednesday night was music night. This would have to be my grandmas favorite. Thursday night we had a pot luck. Friday night we had a campfire. All in all it was a really great week with the family(despite the ginormous amount of mosquitoes and the fact that the boat stopped working on the second day. Can't wait till the next reunion

My new job
So as of today, after countless hours of application, after application, after application, I finally have a job. I am going to be working at Sam's Club as a food demonstrator. I am one of those people who sell free food samples to the customers. I am very happy and excited.

Idol
Let me just put it out there that I am probably the biggest American Idol fan alive. My favorite's this is year are Stefano and James. I like Stefano because he can really belt it out. I like James because he can sing way up there. I also like his story. I also really like Casey and how he has got so much blues in him. The one person I do not like this year is Jacob. His voice just annoys me. I think James will win this year

Spring 2011
Sorry I've been so M.I.A. on blogging. Here is what has been happening in my life lately. I am now what my mom says "a blondie" No I did not die my hair blond, but highlighted it so it looks a lot lighter. I am just coming off my spring break at the preschool and go back tomorrow. As far as boys go, still nothing yet. Story of my life. My sister told me I need to stop going for the wrong kind of guys. There might actually be some truth to that. Well I guess that is all for now

Christmas
Christmas is my favorite time of year. I am so excited about going home and seeing my family and friends. I feel like this year I'm trying to focus on the real meaning of Christmas which is the birth of Jesus Christ. One of the most important part of this time of year for me is thinking about how I can make others holiday special. I was talking to someone today about my favorite memory of Christmas. Mine would have to be not a gift that I gave to someone or anyone gave to me. It was the year I found out I was going to be a big sister. That will always be a Christmas I will never forget.
Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I absolutely love working with the kids. I am thinking of taking a Spanish class because a majority of the kids speak Spanish. I also find that I am enjoying working with the special ed classes. Enough about work. I started a new ward in late August. There are lot's of people in it and I love it. I was totally uplifted last weekend by General Conference, which is just what I needed. I also enjoy seeing my Uncle Paul sing in the Tabernacle Choir. Only 11 more days until I turn 25. So many people are telling me I am not old, but somehow I still feel like I am. This is my most favorite time of the year. I love the weather and hate it when it is hot. It is the perfect weather to go out on walks. I am going to be working on putting pictures on here, but I don't have a camera yet and hope to get one soon. Well time to sign off.

Virginia
So I mentioned in my last post, we went to Virginia this last week. I wont give a day by day play because that would be boring. So one of the highlights were making my Dad's cousin's son Dylan feel welcome by playing with him. Another fun thing was on Saturday night we went to a Richmond baseball game and I totally stuffed my face. They had a fireworks show after the game. We did not do much on the fourth, just hung out. I also loved my Aunt and Uncle's pool and getting people wet with the Super Soaker's. We had my cousin's 18 birthday on Monday. All in all it was a great trip. We got back at four this morning though which was rough.

summer
So I moved home to California for the summer since I'm not working again until August.I will only be there for about another month. I am really looking forward to going to Virginia with my family in a couple weeks. My Aunt lives there with her husband and their daughter. We are going to have a mini-family reunion. I am also looking forward to volunteering this summer at an Infant/toddler nursery room.
All about me
My name is Liz Searfoss and I live in Provo Utah. I love to work with kid's. This past year I have worked at a preschool as a substitute aide. I also like to sing ( according to my grandmother, you can not belong to my family and not appreciate music). I am in the middle of 3 girls. My older sister Megan and her husband Devin just welcomed their first baby into the world 6 weeks ago. His name is Liam Richard Furse. I love being an Aunt and everyone in my family just adores him. He is starting to smile. I cant wait to watch him grow up.
